Cathedral of Saint Vibiana & Skyline View
The Cathedral of Saint Vibiana is the former Catholic cathedral of the City of Los Angeles, California. It opened in 1876 and remained as the city's cathedral for over 100 years. In 1994 it suffered severe damage during the Northridge earthquake and was going to be demolished. In 1996 the City of Los Angeles took control of the building which was then restored and converted into an event venue and restaurant. The cathedral sits near the city's high rises.
