The Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City is composed of several cathedrals built over several centuries. It is here where Catholics believe the Virgin of Guadalupe appeared to a peasant indian. The photograph shows that one of the cathedrals is at an angle. This is because Mexico City was founded on a dry lake bed and the weight of the cathedral, made of stone, has caused it to sink
